Welcome to our first installment of Meet the IT Team! Joining the blog this week is Chris Garrett, who has been with the MRW Systems’ IT team for over 7 years.
This past year, Chris has been receiving a lot of love from our clients. Here’s what they are saying:
“Chris did a very good job of addressing our terminated employee issue, as well as making sure we had access for all our business issues. Nice job!” – Bill S.
“By the time I became aware of the issue and phoned it in, Chris was already on it! Cue the music! “We are the champions!!!” Tiger uppercut!!!” – Jeremy P.
Ready to get to know the guy behind the screen? Check out his Q&A below:

I am the senior support specialist. Basically, if your computer is broken, I’m fixing it.

Working my way up to my senior position! It took a lot of time and effort.

Starts off with checking for whatever tickets came in during the off hours, then diving into any emergencies or pressing issues. Lots of time spent on the phone with vendors and decision makers.
Before working at MRW Systems, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I was a dish washer and quit after 2 days. Still hate doing the dishes to this day!
What do you do in your spare time?
I love cooking so I’m always looking for new dishes to try and make. Lots and lots of video games and anime as well.

The Internet’s a pretty big thing, I guess.

Probably Vegeta from Dragonball Z, the original Badman.
