Welcome back to MRW Systems’ Meet the Team series. It’s with great pleasure that I get to introduce this month’s special guest, Michael Wolinski.
At MRW Systems, our mission is to help small businesses with their technology, and no one understands small business tech like Michael. After all, he is the founder and CEO of MRW Systems.
He is an extraordinary leader and has grown MRW Systems to the successful company it is today. So, it is with special excitement that I welcome Michael to the blog.
Now without further ado, please keep scrolling to view Michael’s Meet the Team Q&A. Enjoy!
– Katlyn, Marketing Director
What is your role at MRW Systems?
Founder/CEO
What is your proudest moment at MRW Systems?
That is a very hard question to answer. Every day I am extremely proud of our team and the service we provide to our clients. Numerous times I have had clients thank me for a job well done, and they go on to say that we have made a positive impact on their business. When I hear that I am very proud that we have accomplished our primary objective for that client.
What does a typical day look like to you?
I spend a large portion of my time in meetings both in person and virtually. These meetings are spread out between internal staff, clients, and prospects. When I am not in meetings, I am looking at our KPI’s or performing some work to meet various client needs.
Before working at MRW Systems, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
Working as a cook on a tugboat that was hauling oil barges up and down the east coast.
What do you do in your spare time?
I like to do a variety of things including reading, listening to music, gardening, playing golf, painting miniatures and gaming. I also enjoy doing DIY projects around the house!
What is one tech thing you can’t live without?
Hmm, for me that is another tough question, I guess personally it is my tablet and phone for reading and listening to music. Professionally, it would be my computer and email. And yes, I know neither answer is just one thing!
What fictional character do you relate to the most and why?
Arthur Phillip Dent because it’s all about the journey.
If you had to pick, what superpower would you want and why?
Healing, I would love to be able to ease peoples suffering from just a touch.
What is your favorite and least favorite foods?
Favorite would be seafood. Least favorite would be kale, but that’s not really food, is it?
Lastly, what are three things still left on your bucket list?
- A return trip to Scotland
- Write a short story (and get it published)
- Travel more
